Thanks for a great night, such a good vibe. I wanted to share an upcoming event at with you all at Govindas on World Food Day(Tuesday October 15): A film launch by Sydney-based development organisation AFAP. The film is a collection of stories by people who are overcoming hunger and poverty in Zimbabwe. The film willl be followed by a brief Q&A and Govinda's delicious buffet. Entry price is only $10 and all the proceeds go to food security projects in Africa. It will be a great and inspiring night! Hope to see you there.

wellmy first time gets a whole load of thumbs up. quality people, quality conversation and free booze. does it get much bettter? so good to see people doing wild and innovative things as i work for local council where your wild intentions can get stifled by beaurocracy. so nice to remember that some are acting more intuitively and boldly. inspiring, fun, lovely. i'll be back. xxx

Really great event Avis, all your volunteer helpers, the speakers and the food and drink suppliers. Bit it's also everyone who goes and connects with everyone else that makes it great.

Hard act to follow but people may be interested in It's Up to Us - part of the Changemakers Festival and the first event put on by Otter. Great night guys and loved the venue. Looking forward to the next one and meeting some more cool people. on a side note is anyone interested in starting a co-op in the crows nest area? Just a thought... email [masked] and lets chat about it.

Allister - like it! I live in Abbotsford near Drummoyne and there's basically nothing closer than Newtown co-op wise. I don't have the bandwidth myself right now to run with it but you go get it!

Hey Allister. We're researching a story about coops around Australia for Otter right now - it would be great to include a few pointers on how to get one going to share with the rest of Australia - interested in keeping notes as you go and sharing them? [masked]
