What are some of your favorite games?

A few that I've enjoyed playing recently, 10 days in..., most of the Rail games, RoboRallye, Powergrid, The Downfall of Pompeii, Living Labyrinth, Puerto Rico, Caverna & Stone Age

What is your favorite style of gameplay? (Cutthroat competition, social cooperation, social competition, exploration, achievement)

I'm in the group to have brain-stimulating fun. I really do like competition, "Cutthroat" is a bit much though. It's just not much fun to win (or lose) by a landslide repeatedly.

I've been a member of the ThirdPlaceSpielers/Yahoo group for quite a while, actively playing at Third Place since Aug '11. I'm interested in playing a variety of games but strategy/worker/tile placement games are my favorite.
