Thursday Cross Training for Runners
*Actual turnout to this workout is actually much more than the rsvp's you'll see here. We draw from several sites, especially Facebook and word of mouth. In other words, you won't be the only one! The runner's worst enemy is lack of variability. We've all been there. We run and run with dogged discipline and yet sooner or later the aches and pains creep in to ruin the fun. Beef up your hips, knees, ankles and back with a solid cross training program where you'll add that insurance that is strength and power to your runner's body. Yes, this class meets at Crossfit, but IT'S NOT Crossfit, it's cross training. The instructors are runners and trained in keeping it SAFE. If you're injured, let us know and we can work around your issues, or if needed, get you evaluated by Dr. Rich Cimadoro, our head coach, founder of the Thousand Oaks Pacer and Bodyfix to help put you back in the game. Classes are $10/session or $60/mo.

What we're about

We are Conejo Valley's Free Running Club. We meet weekly on Sunday Mornings and follow a schedule for all levels of running. Beginners choose "Pre-Conditioning", and over 12 weeks go from 1 mile to 5 miles. Safely and Enjoyably. Advanced Runners can follow a Half Marathon template that covers 3-9 mile runs. You choose the pace, there's always someone to run with who's your level. We cover injury prevention, help with running mechanics, warm ups, and camaraderie! Make friends, get fit!
