Our hikes are for people hiking at an intermediate level or above, who enjoy time outdoors with fun and friendly people sharing similar hiking interests and fitness conditioning goals.
Our hike format emphasizes easy-to-access and scenic 5-8 mile routes in the mountains surrounding the Conejo Valley with 1000-3000 foot elevation gains, a relatively fast pace (2.7-3.0 mph) and limited rest stops. We can conduct optional technique discussions and conditioning exercises based on individual and group interest. Total hiking time is normally 2.5-3.5 hours.
We schedule our hikes for Saturday mornings as the season allows, providing people with the opportunity to participate in conditioning hikes and tune-up for bigger adventures.
