• Trauma Transformation - Guided healing & support gathering (lunch provided).

    Kerry Wood Nature Centre

    CA$53.00

"There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious." - Carl Jung Pain is pain, there is no suffering greater or worse than another. If you have had any kind of traumatic experience in your life then this event is being put on for you. Abuse, sexual abuse, death of a loved one, divorce, assault, addictions, neglect - these are just a few forms of trauma we can experience throughout our lives. Without healthy support to process these experiences through and out of our systems the energy persists and can have very negative repercussions. Are you familiar with anything I'm talking about? Hello Red Deer, if you don't know me, I'm Emily - I'm a transformational life and business coach, some might consider me an intuitive. I believe I'm a Light Worker and facilitator for healing, growth and Love. I used to live in Red Deer and I'm coming to town to kick of 2018. Since leaving Red Deer, the RD Thrive Meetup has kept growing so I am being called to host this transformational gathering for you to reach new levels of insight and healing with your trauma. Our two greatest fears as human beings is fear of death and fear of abandonment. When we experience trauma, these deep fears become falsely validated, weighted and can at times take over. I have learned to practice using these experiences as tools and even gifts in my life as opposed to living in a state of victimhood and it's time I shared and supported you with some of what I've learned. Recovering from trauma requires resiliency and resiliency is a practice. I have found some wonderful tools to support this practice over the years coaching my clients and also healing and continuing to heal from my own traumatic experiences. If you are open to receiving some insight and healing around your own traumatic experience, I invite you to come get loved up by me and the experience at this gathering. What is requested of YOU at this event? That you arrive with some love in your heart, an open mind and the ability to view the world from a non-secular, Spiritual perspective. You are not required to share your story at this event. Due to the confidential nature of this event it is requested that if you attend, you are agreeing to the confidentiality of all those that attend, all that is discussed and all that is shared. If you can't agree to this, please refrain from attending. Respectfully, thank you. Sunday January 21 from 10:30am-2:30pm in Red Deer. Lunch will be provided & is included in your registration fee. We'll be meeting in the McCullough Room at the Kerrywood Nature Centre. Text or call with questions or requests, I would love to hear from you, I can be reached at[masked] or [masked]. RSVP 'YES' to this event. You'll then receive a message with full details of the event's schedule, a couple questions from me and your payment options (multiple payment plan and credit card payments accepted).

  • Thrive Workshops - Stuggling With Your Inner Critic?

    Central Alberta Training Zone

    CA$25.00

DO NOT LET YOUR INNER CRITIC STOP YOU FROM COMING TO THIS WORKSHOP! Come and learn about how we are all dealing with a negative voice in our head that stops us from doing things in our lives that bring us joy and fulfillment. We all have an inner critic. We all have an inner critic just like we all have shoes, we are not our inner critics, just like we are not our shoes. It is possible to navigate beyond this sometimes powerful voice and find inside of ourselves a voice that is accepting, patient, compassionate, kind, playful and full of love! Finding this positive, powerful voice is the premise of this workshop! In this workshop we'll be learning how to take a hold of the negative thoughts that don't serve us. This workshop is about putting you back in touch with the version of yourself that brings you joy and creates happiness. We will learn about the struggle we all have with our inner critic and find out what other options we have by getting in touch with the version of ourselves that is aligned with our values. Our values are what bring us joy and fulfillment in life. Our values are unique to each of us and when we live aligned with them we live a more epic life and we create more rewarding relationships. We can all imagine at least one time in our life when we were proud of ourselves, whether big or small, it is within that connection to that version of ourself that the possibility of an epic life begins again. In this workshop we will learn to foster the connection to our positive, more powerful selves. We learn how to work with the voice of the inner critic gain powerful tools to allow us to actually choose which voice we want to listen to. Thrive Workshops are a safe and confidential space for people wanting to create a more powerful relationship with themselves. It is for individuals who want more out of life than they are currently experiencing. With new tools, clear intentions and open minds, we are being the changes we want to see in the world.
