Charlie, the Little Tramp, meets a beautiful blind girl selling flowers and falls in love with her. Because of his kindness, she falls in love with him as well, not realizing that he is a poor Tramp. There is an operation that can cure her but unfortunately her family is in bad financial trouble. Charlie will do just about anything to get the money to help her. The Little Tramp saves the life of a suicidal rich drunk and the wealthy man suddenly becomes Charlie's best friend. Or is he? Because of his on again, off again friendship with the wealthy drunk, Charlie is able to become the girl's benefactor. Not being able to see him, the blind girl believes that Charlie is the wealthy man that is helping her and her family. She eventually has the operation that cures her. Once she actually sees him will the Little Tramp get the girl in the end? More information (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0021749/).
