The Photographic Society of Vineland in partners with the Clay College, will conduct a 4 session class on the Fundamentals of Photography. The class is open to photographers of any level and will be conducted by Tom Holding of Thunderbolt Photographics at The Cumberland County College's Arts and Innovation Center in Millville, NJ.
This workshop will cover the fundamental elements of photography with both classroom time and a field session at the Delaware Bay/East Point Lighthouse area. The mechanics and relationship of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed will be covered along with lens selection, image sharpness and depth of field. Elements of various styles of composition and pre-visualization will be explored. The field session will be hands on utilizing the information gained during the classroom sessions. The final classroom session will be a review of the participants field session images, and an introduction to "The Art of Seeing."
At the conclusion of the 4 session workshop, the participants will be comfortable with moving off of the "Auto" setting and opening up a new world of creativity.
