The Experience: I will work with the 5 photographers on elements of composition, exposure, depth of field, ISO selection, etc. We will capture a pre-sunrise image looking across the Delaware River at our first stop and then move on to images at an outstanding location in Bucks County. This is a hands-on workshop and I will use my gear to teach and demonstrate the techniques discussed, and then move to each of your set-ups for specific guidance. This will be a low key, relaxed learning experience with only 5 attendees to maximize your learning time. It is very important what you include in your composition, and as equally important, what you exclude. Thgis one comprehensive location will yield many compositions and opportunities. By concentrating at this one mega location, we maximize the time spent to capture it.

I have listed the workshop time from 6:45AM to 11 AM, but we will stay until everyone is confident that they have captured the shots they desire.

This photography workshop will be held at one of my favorite, outstanding Bucks County, PA locations. Please see the attached photos for the subject matter. Our meeting spot has a good sunrise composition if Mother Nature cooperates. Our meeting time to be set up and ready to shoot is by 6:45AM, We will begin shooting prior to sunrise, which will be at 7:29 AM. Then, after a quick R & R stop, we will move on to the next stage and take advantage of the great early morning autumnal light to capture great images. As we approach the location, I will review my thoughts on how I go about viewing and absorbing what I see and therefore, can turn it into a shooting plan.

General Information: The workshop will originate at a downtown New Hope, Pa location by 6:45 AM and we will travel to the location in 2 vehicles (parking is tight) as a group. There will be more specific details e-mailed to you as a group once the workshop is full or 3 days before. This workshop is a sun, cloudy, and light rain workshop.
Only heavy rain will stop us.

Photography equipment suggested: A DSLR, lenses from a moderate wide angle of 28mm to about a 210/300mm telephoto, tripod, cable release, spare battery & spare memory card.
