John Gibson has almost 30 years in the Green Industry, the last 24 years with Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care. As part of a 68 year old legacy business serving 25,000 residential and commercial clients along the front range of Colorado, John has experienced the challenges of scaling a service business from 5,000 work orders organized in bins on a wall to now visiting 1000 individual properties daily. The journey from one location and 60 employees to 4 locations and 275 employees has been supported by people with technology at every growth stage. John continues to challenge the team at Swingle to embrace technology to improve efficiencies and customer service while holding to their commitment to make people’s lives more enjoyable. He has also served as a Director for the Green Industries of Colorado (GreenCO), past chairman of GreenCO’s Water Efficient Leaders in Landscape Program (WELL), and a past President of the Colorado Association of Lawn Care Professionals (CALCP). John served as the Vice-President for the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) before becoming the President of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET).
