Many successful entrepreneurs when change career to become a professional venture investor end up facing a number of challenges not only in raising funds but also, in having their prospective limited partners questioning whether they would become a great venture investor. There are a number of successful entrepreneurs turned hugely successful venture investors that we know of but not many are experts in focusing on spotting promising research and pairing it with business-savvy executives and researchers to commercialize it and take it to market.

How do you become successful both as a serial entrepreneur and also a venture investor focusing on these white space companies that can potentially create or disrupt multi-billion markets? Come and hear from our My Story speaker Amit Shah talk of his experience as a successful serial entrepreneur in developing products but also as Founder and Managing Director of Artiman Ventures – an early-stage VC fund with multi-hundred million dollars capital under management. Artiman is an early-stage Silicon Valley-based venture fund that invests in white space opportunities. Artiman has a rich history of working with entrepreneurs for the long term, supplying capital at the concept phase, and helping with all aspects of strategy, market definition and execution. Artiman brings empathy, experience and patience to the table as we partner with our entrepreneurs to build great companies.

Amit’s story will be inspiring not just to entrepreneurs but to many intrapreneurs and executives in large companies.
