"How to dress like a Gentleman" (On a thrift store budget)
A very short talk on men's fashion from Victorian through the 1930's by Clifford Moore

Clifford will share his actual wardrobe and pieces appropriate for Victorian through the 1930's. Especially helpful for attendees of our July 20th, Portland Prohibition-Era Picnic 7/20 TTCG.

All those who identify with dressing in the male fashion are encouraged to attend. Attend this talk for authentic wardrobe tips (on a thrift shop budget) for yourself or a friend!

The salon will be follwed by time for Q &A, and we will discuss
coming events!
The Salon and Stitch & Bitch is our monthly gathering. Please see our event schedule on our page:

This is a casual, monthly gathering. The meetup starts off with a short talk, demo or discussion (the Salon) given by a member, and is followed with space and company to work on your own costume projects. This is a great way to meet other costumers and share interests and learn new skills.

Bring your own supplies, sewing machine ( extension cord a good idea) , and a snack to share. Coffee cups with lids strongly suggested.

This event is free and open to the public.
June Stitch & Bitch will take place at the Sycamore Room at the Beaverton Community Center.

NOTE: July 14th we will be moving to a larger space- first floor conference room 150 at the Griffith Building The Griffith is the Beaverton City building off Beaverton-Hillsdale and Hwy 217, where the police station and court is and near the Goodwill. There is Ki Coffee Shop, and a noodle palce nearby!
Would you be willing to give a short demo, a talk or show off a project you have made? A projector is available if you have a slide show to share. Presentation length can range from 30 minutes to about 2-3 hours if hands on. You do NOT need to be an expert, just share your research and projects! Think of it as Show and Tell...We are a friendly group.
Contact Lorien Fletcher to volunteer for a Salon!
