These coastal hike/walks in the Palos Verdes Peninsula are so much fun that we're going for a third one!
The next scheduled walk is at the Vicente Bluffs Reserve. This is a docent-led hike, so there will be stops along the walk to discuss plant and animal life along the trail. The docents are very well trained and educated about local wildlife, so they offer TONS of information about the area!
Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes and layered clothing. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for protection from the sun. Bring your camera for some amazing shots!
Parking information and directions below. Let's plan to meet in the parking lot at 9:45am. The docents start the walk in smaller groups promptly at 10:00am.
Rain cancels. Specific questions regarding this hike may be directed to Sunshine 1-310-377-8761.
I will email my contact number to YES RSVPs shortly before the event.

Docents from the Point Vicente Interpretive Center (PVIC) will lead a tour of the center's museum, native plant garden, coastal public access amenities and all three "strings in the braid" trail corridors. This walk is appropriate for wheelchair users but the equestrian and bicycle corridors are still somewhat isolated. No reservations required. FREE - donations appreciated.
Directions: From the 405, San Diego Fwy., exit at Hawthorne Blvd. going south approx. 15 miles. Turn left onto Palos Verdes Drive West. Turn right at the first opportunity and right again when you are facing the lighthouse. PVIC is at the end of the road.
