Tomorrow's Meeting should be a good one. The agenda is almost full with two prepared speeches scheduled and 8 Members signed up for Meeting roles. If we have extra time, that means we have more time for Table Topics. Table Topics is a fun extemporaneous speaking exercise where a volunteer gets up in front of the group and speaks for 1 to 2 minutes on an unknown topic. After Table Topics is over, the assembled Members vote for the best presentation and the winner goes home with a blue ribbon. Guests are allowed to participate but never forced to speak until they're ready to volunteer. After Table Topics comes the Evaluation portion of the Meeting. Toastmasters is all about feedback, so Members know exactly how they can improve their public speaking skills. The two Speakers get individual 2 to 3 minute Evaluations and everyone who speaks gets a comment or two.
