What we're about

This group is for families interested in kid-friendly Tinkering and STEAM activites in the Pasadena, Glendale, and east San Fernando Valley areas. After years of only finding STEM programming in the Bay Area and LA's Westside, Tinkering classes are now available on our side of town. This group provides a listing of family and kid-friendly courses as we find them. (Feel free to share the ones you find). We will share programming from ReDiscover, Kids Building Things, DIYgirls, Molten Metal Works, Adams Forge, and more. We want to connect families interested in tinkering with the activities that will encourage their own growth and form a community of involved DIYers.

Now there's great STEM programming with a lot less driving.

Disclaimer: Any classes listed are for adults (18+) to register, and assume parent will participate with a child. Safety waivers are required for most activities and must be signed in person by a parent or guardian. See individual organization's events for more details.
