Easter Feaster VIII

Dear Friends,

The time is upon us! Today is Palm Sunday, which means that next Sunday is the great feast of Easter! The most glorious day of the year, in which we celebrate Christ's triumphant victory over sin and death – an eternal day of infinite hope, mercy, and joy!

Easter is, for Christians, the holiest feast of the year – and we shall celebrate appropriately!

The Easter Feaster is a special party. As Christ united himself with all mankind at his incarnation, and died and rose for all of us Easter, everyone is invited to the Easter Feaster – everyone! I encourage you to invite your friends, but I especially entreat you to invite your enemies. Invite your families, bring your children, invite that co-worker you don't know so well. Come and be united in celebration!

There will be a large quantity of food and festive drink supplied, but if you can, please contribute more – but if you can't, don't let that stop you from coming!

The Feaster is at Ryan's House; doors will be open at 2pm; food will be prepared throughout the day, but the main course (I'm not sure what it is yet, but it will be some large chunk of animal) should be ready around 4pm.

I understand, of course, that many people have other, less-festive, obligations on Easter, so just come whenever you can. The Feaster will be going all day and into the late night.

Do please RSVP on the guest list, so we can try to plan accordingly.

Also, in light of the preparations that will need to be made and the Holy Week masses, we will not be having our regular Wednesday meeting this week.

Come celebrate with us the Solemnity of the Resurrection of the Lord!

Peace & Love,
Joy & Life,

Christopher
