Let's Brew: Festbier (Course) ($20) (Fest Follows...RSVP Separately)

  • Festbier is a specific form of Märzen (or March) beer that is brewed in March from last year's hops and then aged to be served in September/October and specifically at Oktoberfest.   If you are drinking an Oktoberfest brew, you are drinking this form of beer.  

    This course will teach all the basics. If you have never brewed before, we will remove the mystery. If you can follow a recipe, tell time, and boil water, you can brew great beer.

    If you have brewed before, then let's brew together.


    $20 covers the cost of the "nosh plate" (Brotzeitteller) that sits in the middle. This is definitely a nosh event.

    If you are unable to pay but want to attend, talk to Hans about the "Work/Study" Program offered by Tischrunde Dahoam.
