Walk-in & Hands-on

Be sure to bring your laptop and test devices, because we get hands-on! Get to Glimworm HQ straight out of work to get help with your daily issues. And after hearing the latest on Titanium from the speaker, learn how to use it in your projects right away!

Main subject: Titanium &/= Native

"No, Titanium is no HTML like PhoneGap!", is a phrase I use almost daily. Titanium let's you code 100% native UI's in JavaScript. To enable this, it provides proxies - or bridges as they're often referred as - between JS- and native-land. Understanding how this works enables you to be more effective and maybe even extend Titanium API with custom modules yourself!

Main speaker: Mads Møller

Mads Møller is a well known Titan in the international community and CTO of Napp. Many people use his NappDrawerTiSocial and other modules. He's one of the few Titanium developers out there who also code native for both iOS and Android. We hope to learn from his insight in the Titanium native bridges as well as his ideas on how this will change under Hyperloop & Ti.Next.
