We meet every Thursday morning (except for the last Thursday of each month) from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Presentation skills are crucial to success in the workplace. Toastmasters provides an inexpensive, effective and enjoyable way to gain the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. And Toastmasters' experience is highly respected in the business world.
Toast of the Towers is a great place for salespersons, managers, experts, coaches, entrepreneurs, business professionals and professional speakers to get more comfortable with speaking in public, to polish leadership skills and to network, share resources and exchange ideas.

What to expect: We start on time and end on time, and during that hour we get a lot done! You will usually experience two speakers with prepared speeches that are around 5-7 minutes long. The speakers and topics vary from meeting to meeting.
We also have a time for something called "Table Topics". Table Topics gives members a chance to practice their off-the-cuff or impromptu speaking. The kind of speaking that we do most of the time! Finally, members provide thoughtful evaluations of the prepared speeches so speakers learn how they might continue to improve. We love visitors! But some have told us they get lost. Here's some further directions:
Once you get to the Plymouth Corporate Center (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1405+Xenium+Lane+North%2C+Plymouth%2C+MN) it's easiest to park on the EAST side (facing Zenium/Northwest Blvd - Entrance says EAST). You can park in the visitor parking.
Go in the main doors on the EAST SIDE and follow the hallway beyond the Meritain office entrance until you get to the Gift Shop.
Take a LEFT at the Gift Shop and go BEYOND the coffee station.
Ahead of you on the left you'll see the James J Hill Conference Room.
If the door is closed feel free to come on in, grab a seat, relax and enjoy the meeting. We always start and end on time but we don't want you to miss anything!
