Meeting - Speech Contest Monday!

We Welcome You To Toastmasters Evanston!

If you're interested in improving your communication and leadership skills, we invite you to join us! We meet the first and third Monday of each month at The Celtic Knot restaurant - centrally located Downtown Evanston.

Upcoming Contest

Join us on August 18th as we depart from our usual agenda to present 'Speech Contest Monday'!

Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition, and our next meeting will feature contestants facing off in the 'Humorous' and 'Evaluation' categories.

This is a great opportunity to check out 'Contest Day' and learn more about Toastmasters Evanston.

What To Expect

If you've attended Toastmasters meetings in the past, while they all share similar elements, each club has its own unique atmosphere and cadence.  We invite you to attend one or two meetings as a guest to decide if Toastmasters Evanston is right for you.

Regular meetings consist of prepared speeches, impromptu 'Table Topics' speeches, as well as speech evaluations. Every meeting also offers the opportunity to network with fellow Toastmasters.

Whatever your speaking experience, Toastmasters Evanston offers a supportive environment where you can discover and develop your own unique presentation style, and where the key word is practice.

You can read What Is Toastmasters? to learn more, and get an in-depth look at the various ways members can participate by clicking Meeting Roles

Arrive Early

When you attend a Toastmasters Evanston meeting, please arrive ten to fifteen minutes before the meeting begins to allow time to sign in, and introduce yourself to a club officer. You can also register your information with us here

Whether you start off as an observer, or take an active role out the gate, we invite you to be part of our community of evolving speakers!

President, Toastmasters Evanston #[masked]
