Toastmasters for Mental Health Professionals is a club for clinicians who want to practice their public speaking skills.

It provides a great opportunity for those who have an interest in presenting at meetings, workshops, and conferences. We offer a fun and supportive environment!

This club is a closed group. One must be one of the following to be eligible for membership:

En route to being licensed by or are already licensed by the:

• Board of Behavioral Sciences of the State of California
(MFT, MFT Associate, LCSW (MSW must be working toward licensure), LPCC Associate

• Board of Psychology of the State of California.

Toastmasters for Mental Health Professionals is THE PLACE to help you! Toastmasters International is a non-profit association to help people master their leadership and public speaking skills. We just happen to be a Toastmasters group just for licensed/pre-licensed mental health professionals in the State of California. You will learn how to present your topic with growing ease and style. You may shake and shiver at first, but you'll grow by actively participating! You'll be able to gracefully speak that 30-second pitch that you need in the elevator, or when out and about. The meeting is 90 minutes, an hour and a half. For about the same price as a couple of tanks of gas, you could get six months of Toastmasters experience and knowledge. Interested? Of course you are!
