“Token Engineering Tokyo” is a meetup group supported by the largest blockchain tech community in Japan, “Blockchain EXE.”
This group is the place for people who want to learn and discuss the latest token design that combines the theories of computer science, game theory, psychology, and cryptography.

In this meetup, Ocean Protocol, the Berlin-based decentralized data exchange protocol provider will share the details of the project and its token model.

Ocean Protocol is a decentralized data exchange protocol founded by the members of BigchainDB, a decentralized database solution provider, and the members DEX, the data marketplace provider. They aim to solve the problem of "data silo" by token-based incentivization and its security mechanism.
Also, Token Engineering's initiative is led by the members of Ocean Protocol.

Timo Honsel | Product Developer at Ocean Protocol
Timo Honsel is a partnerships ambassador at Ocean Protocol. He works for the German cooperation for development cooperation (GIZ) identifying blockchain use cases for international development. Prior to this he was a business consultant for the university based blockchain consultancy Blockchain at Berkeley and interned at the economics department of the German embassy in Beijing.
Kazuaki Ishiguro | Chief Blockchain Architect at Couger Inc.
After graduating from high school in Japan, he went to university in Los Angeles and started his career as a DJ. He worked at multiple clubs in Hollywood as a regular DJ and started programming when he created music and video contents for live music. He later went back to Japan and worked as a software developer at CTI-startup. He self-taught the development of blockchain. At Couger, he currently leads the blockchain development of “Connectome” and has given a speech at Blockchain EXE’s event and Ethereum’s global conference, EdCon. He is also a contributor of BigchainDB.
