This is a group for novice and intermediate photographers to meet up and learn how to shoot better photos. There will be both outdoors and indoors workshops organized. Lessons on how to "see" better and compose better images using your own judgement as well as camera settings will be taught. Bring your imagination, camera and an open mind!
All the workshops and photo walks are in English, so feel free to practice your English with the other members. There is a good mix of Japanese speakers and English speakers at every event so you can talk and share information together!
1. Please be respectful to each other and the organiser.
2. If you RSVP to an event and you can't make it please cancel your RSVP at least 24 hours before the event start time.
3. If you do not cancel and are missing for two or more events without canceling your RSVP ahead of time you may be banned from the group!!! (This is because some people did not show up to the events and didn't cancel their RSVP so I was left waiting there for them and no one came!) :(

Let's have fun and take photos of cosplayers. There will be hundreds of Halloween cosplayers at the annual parade near Kawasaki station so let's meet up and take some photos of the people dressed in different characters.
If you want to be part of the parade you have to dress up in a costume and pay 1500 yen and fill out the form on their website.
We will just watch and take photos and then enjoy the nice music and party they have and after that hang out at a nearby coffee shop and discuss photography and the photos we just took.
Here's the official website for the event: http://lacittadella.co.jp/halloween/
Another link with all info in English: http://tokyocheapo.com/events/kawasaki-halloween-parade/
This event is open to everyone, bring your friends and you can bring any camera and just enjoy the event and have fun!
See you there!!! :)
Let's go to Shibuya after this parade and take photos of all the people dressed up in Halloween costumes in Shibuya!!!
Some shots from last year's parade:
This show happens only once every two years and it showcases the new cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles that are brand new as well as prototypes of vehicles.
It's a great time to check out new cars and practice shooting photos in a crowded environment, surrounded by people and with different lights going on at the same time.
Due to an event that I will go to earlier in the day there's no time to meet up in Odaiba and shoot, so we will all meet at 4:00 pm in front of Tokyo Big Sight building, it's up to you how you want to get there.
We will go into the show together and talk about how to shoot the cars and after that we will discuss some of the photos in a coffee shop nearby if you have time to hang out.
This meetup is FREE, however, you need to buy your own tickets to the show!
After 4pm tickets are only 1000 yen each, so we will buy them from Tokyo big sight before going in.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
