Northwest Ohio's tech culture is growing and to its credit, the University of Toledo's LaunchPad Incubation is playing a significant role, now with 17 startups in various industry sectors from information technology to biomedical device.

Our plan for this event is to introduce Molly Thompson, Director of the program who directs operations and forms connections between many resources including the university, entrepreneurs and angel investors.

We'll meet Gene Powell who is working closely with Petrichor and the Incubator to bring about Toledo's first hackathon, Glass City Hacks. He'll be giving us a recap of what's happening in Toledo discussing Seed coworking, Startup Toledo, and the numerous meetups around technology and entrepreneurship.

We also plan to meet the founders of Petrichor who make Cycle, a global infrastructure and applications platform service and the founders of Byrd Multirotor, a company that builds and markets racing drones.

We'll be taking a tour of of their facilities, fly a drone, show off a bunch of cool 3D printed knickknacks, and just all around have fun.

All in all we think this will be another fantastic event for 2015. We hope to see you soon at the University of Toledo LaunchPad Incubation.

Come network, meet founders and hear their stories. Pizza and drinks provided by University of Toledo Launchpad Incubation!
