How has AI entered into healthcare? What is being developed? Canada is leading the way with advancements in the fields of both artificial intelligence and health.

We have panelists from 4 of these new labs who are paving the way to improve health outcomes for current and future generations.

-----------------
ProteinQure - Tomas Babej - CTO
Computational design of protein-based drugs employing machine learning and quantum computing.

-----------------
Phenomic AI - Étienne Dumoulin - AI data engineer
Deep learning solutions to accelerate drug discovery. We're building the lab of the future, and we’re going to use this lab to take on cancer.

-----------------
WinterLight Labs - Jekaterina Novikova, PhD - Director of Machine Learning
WinterLight developed a novel AI technology that can quickly and accurately quantify speech and language patterns to help detect and monitor cognitive and mental diseases.

-----------------
SeamlessMD
Philip Chen - COO
Using AI to improve the healthcare experience for patients recovering from surgery. Their platform enables hospitals to optimize patient health before they operate, accelerate patient recovery, and monitor at-risk patients after they go home.

In addition, we will have Davide Chicco from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Jane Illarionova who has used AI to detect cancer in brain tissue samples
