Weekly Pathfinder Society at Wizard's Cache!

Hello TAG! We are once again announcing our weekly Pathfinder Society game that takes place at Wizard's Cache, an RPG/game store located one block East of St. George station.

Wizard's Cache is a great store, and the owner is currently offering a 10% discount on roleplaying products for Pathfinder Society players! (To get the discount, print out a Pathfinder Society card from a Paizo account, or if you are a brand new player, just show up and talk to me to get a temporary one.)

For those who don't know about Pathfinder Society, it is an organized play variant of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. This means it is the type of game that you can attend sporadically or regularly, and a character that you play at this event can be played at any other PFS event, including conventions!

Have you never played Pathfinder Society before, or have you never even played Pathfinder before? That's fine, because no experience is necessary! We have pregenerated characters for new players, and the basics are pretty easy. The fastest way to learn is to drop by and play with us.

The scenarios we are planning are: TBA

You can RSVP here, but we do our formal game registrations at To ensure that you have a spot reserved, make sure to go to the event page and click on your game of choice. You do need to register on the website to do so, but I promise not to give anyone's email address away. Drop-in players are of course also welcome!

For those unfamiliar with Pathfinder Society rules, you can check them out at; if you have any questions regarding the weekly gameday or anything else, please email me at [masked].

In case I haven't mentioned it enough, this event will be weekly. If you can't attend this week, plan to attend next week instead!

I'm an "old-school" AD&D DM and from what I gather Pathfinder is similar to that game. I've tried 3.5 but hate the rigid combat rules. Is this event a good way to find out more about the game?

Ya it should be a good way in sampling the system. All our DMs are willing to introduce players to game as they run the scenario. As well we have pregenerated characters, for anyone who needs a character for that day.
