Let's explore downtown Toronto at night. We'll check out some night art installations and wander where we don't wander enough. This walk was originally scheduled for June 1st. Hopefully this Friday there will be no floods at Union Station or thunderstorms!
Night installations will include:
CONNECTION - This is the lit pedestrian overpass between Air Canada Centre and Maple Leaf Square.
WATERTABLE - A light/sound installation of waves under the Gardiner Expressway.
MITOSIS COURTYARD - Lit columns of light with patterns inspired by cell division created by Pierre Poussin.
CITYPLACE - Several art installations that come to life at night.
The walk will be about 2 - 2.5 hours long and will end at King and Bathurst streets.
Post-walk drinks are an option.
