What we’re about

The Inkubation Project is a non-profit corporation dedicated to nurturing the work of writers, musicians, and other artists across multiple streams of activity.

THE BACKYARD SERIES
The Backyard Series was created as a way to support musicians at a time when COVID closed all the live music venues.

Most of these artists hadn't played before a live audience in many months, and it was moving to watch them react to their first applause in some time.
This intimate connection between artist and audience created a warm, magical vibe. We felt compelled to do more.

We bought gear. We added lights. We captured audio and video of their live performances. We took photographs and provided all these resources as material the artists could use to promote themselves. All funds collected, went directly to the musicians.

THE SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The Script Development Project runs a bit like a TV Writers Room, with acclaimed screenwriter/story editor Roslyn Muir as our mentor/guru. Ros’ latest book, ‘Writing A TV Movie’ reached #1 on Amazon’s Best Sellers List.

Under Ros’ direction, a talented group of emerging writers look at specific film/television markets, pitch ideas to fit those markets, give each other notes, and support each other as their scripts move from beat sheet, to outline, to first act, to first draft. The goal of the Script Development Project is for each writer to complete a script that will sell to the market, for an industry-standard fee.
