Come and explore the spiritual way of life this Sunday afternoon?

  • Aug 21, 2016 · 3:00 PM
  • Dr. Paul Wong's Residence

Yes, there is more to life than working, eating and paying bills. Yes, there is more to life than the repetition of mundane everyday routines before we die.
We invite you to explore the spiritual way of life that will add depth and height to your existence.

Find out the essence and vitality of true spirituality that will make you feel fully alive and more purposeful. Whatever your religious beliefs, find out that at the heart of true spirituality is love -- love your neighbours and love your God.

Come and discover how you can discover something wonderful and uplifting by losing yourself to something greater than yourself.

We had a very congenial group. Individuals were respectful of others ideas and opinions. The shy individuals were encouraged to express their views. Even though many attended for the first time, they felt free to explore the benefits of such roundtable on spirituality.

Very good discussion of major themes of spirituality --from faith to connectiveness.

The only inexhaustible resources are spiritual. Therefore ‪#‎spiritual‬ seekers naturally have a decided adaptive advantage over those who show no interest in spiritual matters. I invite you to learn how to access and make the best use of spiritual resources this Sunday afternoon at our meetup.

Is there any comment on my self-transcendence paper? Do you agree that ST is at the heart of spirituality?

Here is a paper on self-transcendence (ST) which is non-religious way to describe spirituality. ST is not only essential for meaningful living, but also important for meaning-oriented therapy. Hope that you can read this paper for discussion on Sunday. http://www.drpaulwong.com/self-transcendence-paradoxical-way/

I regret that I will be unable to attend. I will be testing our spirituality ideas in Germany, Israel and Ethiopia. I hope everyone has a great discussion and will look forward to seeing you all in the fall.
