The Skinny:

*IMPORTANT: Please only sign up for one ping pong event per week. You may wait at least 1 hour before the beginning of the 2nd respective event you'd like to attend, and if there's still room for it, you can RSVP and attend the 2nd respective weekly event as well.

We typically get more than 1 table throughout the night, so we're playing a mix of 1-on-1 as well as 2-on-2. We're also getting together for a bite to eat once we're done playing. The group has paddles and balls to share with attending members. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be made either via the donate button to the left or by cash in person. They help keep the group running and supplied with equipment.

The Long:

Trinity Bellwood Community Centre has a very large parking lot and is accessible by TTC via street car (see below for TTC Google map link, as well as TTC directions).

If you're planning on coming late, RSVP anyways, and come on over whenever you can :-)

There are 3 tables at this venue, and playing will be first come first serve and on rotation. We're usually able to take advantage of at least one of the tables throughout the whole evening (meaning we have at least one that we keep playing at until close).

The community centre has a limited number of paddles, so if you have your own, please bring it/them so that we have enough for everyone. At the same time, we do have some extra ones for sharing with the group, so even if you don't have one of your own, it's no big deal.

We will play 2-on-2 as well as 1-on-1 based on table availability. Considering the recreation area of the venue closes at around 8:45 P.M., we will play 2-on-2 whenever there aren't enough tables to play 1-on-1 (or we will mix it up accordingly depending on how many tables become available to us).

The number of members who can RSVP is limited, so only RSVP if you're sure you can make it.

Following the end of the event (the recreation area of the community centre closes at around 8:45 P.M.), I invite you to join me for a bite to eat. The actual place where we go to eat is at this point to be determined.

Please refer to the following ground rules before RSVPing (you can find all of the group's official rules in detail at http://rules.TorontoPingPong.com ):
1. Only RSVP if you are planning on attending. The number of spots are limited, and anyone who does not show up will be given a strike. Two strikes, and you are out of the group.

2. If something comes up, please change your attendance to "no" within at least 24 hours prior to the event. If you do not give sufficient notice, anyone on the waiting list would not be given sufficient time to plan to attend. If you violate this rule, a strike will be held against you (remember: 2 strikes and you're out). Of course if it's something beyond your control, no strike will be held against you as long as you advise the organizer (http://www.meetup.com/Toronto-Table-Tennis-Ping-Pong/members/5276745/) via Meetup e-mail as soon as you're able to.

2.5. If you come to 3 group events after getting a strike, your strike will be removed.
