Once again we'll be back at the amazing PagerDuty offices (King St West & Strachan) on Wednesday September 25th and we have an action-packed night ready for you!
Doors will open around 6:30pm with talks starting at 7pm. When you arrive, tell the security guard at that you are here for the Elixir Meetup and they will escort you the seventh floor.
NOTE: Due to booking restrictions, this is slightly off from our usual schedule, so make sure you check your calendars!
Mafinar Khan (http://mafinar.ca/) is back on stage to present "Introducing KarmaWerks". - KarmaWerks is a work-in-progress project management tool written in Phoenix. The talk will cover KarmaWerks' features and explain how Phoenix was helpful building it. Special attention will be given to dGraph integration and LiveView.
Shortly after Michael Degli-Angeli will give his talk "Deploying Elixir Applications" - A lightweight approach to automating your deployments with Docker and Ansible.
Last but not least Mike Stok (https://github.com/mikestok) will present "Adding a Compiler to a `mix` Project”.
At PagerDuty, Elixir is the de facto language and we have over 150 projects using Elixir. We are hiring developers; if you would like to work more with Elixir talk to Tyler, or check out careers here: https://www.pagerduty.com/careers/
