This is a beginning class that will focus on the fundamentals of T'ai Chi practice: postural alignment, correct movement patterns, proper breathing and relaxation. Over time, you will learn the form which you can practice on your own, anytime you want.
We will go over the T'ai Chi basic exercises and begin working on the 64-movement Yang style form. Total beginners will usually work on the short and compact 8-movement form first.
Now that the weather is cold, we will be inside in the same building as Whole Health Acupuncture, but using a different entrance at the back of the building. From the parking lot, walk on the right side of the building to the side facing Arlington Heights road. There will be a sign for Dena's School of Dance above the door.
