2047 Windes Dr., Orange, CA
While browsing the OC Parks website, I came across another cool family friendly night hike coming up at Santiago Oaks Regional Park! We have done some fun evening hikes, but this will be cool experience to learn some things from a park ranger. This hike will be with a large group of people, including people outside of the Meetup group. Space is limited, so sign up now!
The hike will feature many fun activities, including:
– A visit to the Nature Center.
– Interpretive program on nocturnal animals.
– Age appropriate ranger-led hikes (1 group hike designed for adults & 1 designed for children and families)
The hike itself should be about 3 miles long with a 1 mile option for a more kid friendly hike. We will be meeting at the Nature Center. Be sure to mention the activity at the gate so they can guide you on where to go.
It could be cold, so please dress accordingly. Also, bring a flashlight or headlamp.
**Aside from registering here, you must sign up on LetsGoOutside.org. The first link is the park map and the second link takes you to where you need to register and gives more info. http://ocparks.com/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=15729
Parking is $3. Kids are welcome, but no pets please.
