Hike toward Ouzel Lake and climb Copeland via the east ridge. Non technical assent.
This is a beautiful hike along a groomed trail to Ouzel Lake but very strenuous assent through some brutal felled trees when you journey south from Ouzel Lake.
The summit affords some of the best views in the park.
This is a remote location. The chances of seeing anyone on the mountain are very slim indeed. If you want to feel you are getting away from it all, this is probably the way to do it.
Total distance traveled will be about 14 miles.

THIS IS NOT AN EASY HIKE. Please bring your 10 essentials and plenty of water or a water purification system of some kind. Also bring plenty of food.
