Graham Search & Rescue Orientation

Want to put those hiking skills to good use? Learn more skills and emergency survival for yourself? Help the community? If you said yes, the Washington Explorer Search & Rescue Pierce County Unit might be the place for you.
Search for missing hikers, hunters, children, Alheimer patient's, bodies, plus search for evidence for police and sheriff departments. Assist others in natural disasters and emergencies such as earthquakes and floods.

4 training courses will test your skills, plus you have the opportunity to attend several classes on GPS, water and helicopter rescue and more.

Adults and teens aged 14 and up are welcome. Adults will be working side-by-side with teen volunteers on leadership and teamwork skills.
