We're a friendly bunch, who gather together every Sunday evening on a drop-in basis, for prayer, reflection, and elevated conversations, inspired by spiritual Writings. In doing so, we are co-creating a space where people of varying backgrounds develop spiritual community.
We are affiliated with the Baha’i’s of Toronto, and offer this gathering as a free service. Our aim is to promote meaningful conversations, foster a devotional character in our community, and contribute to the betterment of the world.
What we’re not about: proselytizing or debate, selling, converting, rituals or new-age practices.
7:00pm: Arrive, Introductions, and Settle.
7:10-7:15pm: Quiet reflection. Latecomers will be put on mute upon arrival.
What to expect: in a typical gathering, we say hello, then have a few minutes of simple silent reflection. This is followed by prayers and readings from the Baha’i’ Writings and other World Religions, focused on a theme. During the readings we enjoy elevated conversation with each other, inspired by the quotes. Note: if you arrive during our silent reflection, please remain on mute, and join us in silence until the bell rings.
Examples of Themes: Unity - "The earth is but one country and mankind its citizens”; Justice - “No light can compare with the light of justice. The establishment of order in the world and the tranquillity of the nations depend upon it.”
