This is a group for urban planners, architects, landscape architects, real estate professionals, and all other urban enthusiasts who also identify as trangender, GNC, or allies.
Trans/GNC people are impacted everyday by the design and planning of urban spaces, and the enforcement of gender norms within those spaces (streets, offices, bathrooms, etc.). Despite this, there are few voices from the trans/GNC community participating in these fields' discourses. Let change that!
TransUrban is for trans/GNC people to discuss, advocate for, and participate in the design and production of the urban space. This can include book readings, walking tours, installations, and activism.
