Hi everyone! *THIS IS AN ONGOING THREAD. IF YOU WANT TO HOST ABOUT A PLACE (DOMESTIC OR ABROAD) YOU'VE TRAVELED TO, PLEASE MESSAGE ME OR COMMENT BELOW. Recently I've noticed a increasing amount of interest from people wanting to find travel partners or wanting to learn more about a specific country. There's a monthly Travel Talk in another group I organize and we're looking for more people to talk about places they've traveled to, show pictures, and share travel tips. This is a great way for those of you who have went somewhere amazing and taken a ton of photos to re-live your awesome travels as well as sharing them with others who want to go there. It's also a good way to meet potential travel partners. I already have a place lined up for these Travel Talks with a friend of mine who has graciously offered the meeting space at the American Refugee Committee office in Minneapolis. It has computer hook up to a screen projector. We'll need involvement from the group though. So if you have knowledge of a specific area, domestic or abroad, then feel free to mention it in the comments section below and I'll get a hold of you! Each month we'll try to make the presentation on a different location, so for example, maybe one month someone can present on Costa Rica, the next month someone can present on Spain, the month after that on Alaska and so on... You don't have to have expert knowledge on the area and the presentation doesn't have to be super professional. It'll just be a chance for you to help people who want to go the place you've been and answer some questions they may have about what cities/towns to visit, safety, what to bring, food, etc... Thanks everyone!
