Deoriatal to Chandrashila summit trek is an all season trek known for its breathtaking beauty in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is a short trek with easy-medium gradients that can be completed on a longer weekend. Deoriatal is a beautiful lake with its pristine waters capturing the reflection of Chaukamba, Kedar and Neelkanth peaks.
Another highlight of the trek is climbing all the way up to the world?s highest temple. Tungnath is a thousand year old temple and is one of the five ?Panch Kedar? or holiest of Shiva temples.
One is rewarded with a spectacular 360 degree view from a height of 12,900 feet.
