Travel 2.0 - Feb 7th Event Reminder

From: Mike C.
Sent on: Thursday, January 24, 2013 12:47 PM

Hey everyone,

Quick reminder to consider signing up for the next Travel 2.0 coming up on Feb 7th http://www.meetup.com/Travel20/events/99829052/

Legal counsel Herb Moore from SorinRand will be covering the topic of equity incentives for employees, consultants and advisers. If you are thinking of starting a travel company or have recently started one, you need to know how to bring on and retain a dedicated, enthusiastic team by structuring a fair deal for them. We find that this topic is often a source of confusion, and thus many people put it off for too long. So I purposely set this up to force you to think about it! :) Please view the event link for more details, but here are the most pertinent:

When: Thursday, Feb 7, 6:30 PM
Where: Projective Space, 72 Allen St, 3rd floor, Lower East Side NYC (www.projective.co)
Cost: $5 to cover beer and administrative costs
RSVP Link: http://travel2point0startupcounsel.eventbrite.com

I hope it is not confusing that the Meetup page is closed to RSVP's! Please click the Eventbrite link to RSVP.

FYI: I think we will have our next presentation by a travel startup founder on March 7th, and I am now accepting pitches for April and May. If you would like to pitch or know of someone who you think should pitch, please have them email me at [address removed].

Also, I would love to do some impromptu happy hours every now and then. (once it warms up a little...) Please feel free let me know if you have ideas for venues.

Thanks and hope to see you soon!

Mike
