What we're about

Hello and welcome to Travel Together,

My name is Andy and this is what I do.

Having taken over 500 people to over 40 different countries, we've 'shared' some indelible memories and expereinces together and this is what drives me to continue to do so. Great frienships have been forged and I strongly believe that travel is on enriched when shared with another. If you have the right group, it really doesn't matter where in the world you go, it's the people you go with that make it special.

Alongside this strong 'group' philosophy, I'm also extremely passionate about travelling responsibly, morally and ethically. It's for this reason that I only offer trips where the money goes to the heart of the community we're visiting and for the most part, you're experiencing the REAL country, not just hopping on and off a huge 49 seater coach where you get 30 minutes at each stop and then return to a multinational chain hotel.

NO! All our accommodation is carefully selected to be either unique, rustic, traditional or organic. We don't 'do' all-inclusive 5* hotels. For us, where you stay is a huge part of the experience, be that a houseboat, treehouse or a family run guesthouse which benefits the whole community by providing a need for farming, employment which also sustains and even nourishes local villages. This may take some of you out of your comfort zones, but we strongly believe it only enriches the experience. That said, if your only travel history is that of all-inclusive resorts or luxury, then I'm afraid this group just isn't for you!

Continuing our ethical stance, we will never visit anywhere that has any kind of culture that is harmful to animals, local wildlife or nature. For us, we can all travel and explore the world, but whilst all doing our bit to protect it too. All we ask is that you think about your contribution to the tour, because ultimately, what you give and bring to these trips, the group, the local communities and the country you're visiting, both financially and practically, we believe, should be more important than what you simply take from them.

Most of our long hauls include a lot of group activities, whether its transfers or days out, cultural experiences, shows, meals or just exploring, most of this is done with the group.

There's really no substitute to having a specialist experienced local guide and all these tours will always have one with us.

Whether it's pounding the street in Hanoi or trekking the jungles of Costa Rica, most of the trips will require a reasonable degree of fitness. Even though most of these trips will offer free time or opportunities to just chill out, we're ultimately going to experience and discover the countries.

All of that said, if fun, adventure, discovery, learning, local cuisine, community and opening your mind to everything and anything the world has to offer, but, you're happy and open to share all of this with a group of likeminded individuals who share the same passion, wanderlust and respect for the world and others .......then trust me, you're just going to love this group!!

I hope to meet many of you as we discover the world together .....
