Bringing Consciousness to Work

Bringing Conscious Leadership to Agile Teams

Business doesn't happen unless people show up for it. When people show up in their full humanity, their very Presence illuminates new realms of success. How many people do you know who have been convinced that in order to succeed, they must give up their own sense of who they are?

Welcome to a new paradigm.

Humanity is waking up to a new way of being.  In all walks of life, individuals realize their capacity to connect with others, to create together, to transcend a sense of competition that leaves no winner.

On this evening, Dennis and Kerri will share tools of sensory awareness for raising the felt-sense of Presence for all who attend.  Join us as we explore the difference an elevated sense of presence makes in the realm of agile teams.

About Dennis:

Dennis Britton is a long time agilist, obtaining his CSM from Ken Schwaber in 2004 trained in lean software practices by Mary and Tom Poppendieck  in 2005 and coached at HP, Macy’s, Visa, Chase, GE and Cisco. He co-founded the Silicon Valley Agile Leadership Network and currently is a Release Train Engineer at Cisco. He focuses on fostering joyful, productive habitats for collaborative learning and innovation. See for more info.

About Kerri:

Kerri Lake has a diverse background of accomplishments. She has made her mark in Silicon Valley helping DayStrom grow from stacks of papers to racks of servers, earned a degree in Animal Science from UC Davis and now specializes in guiding human awareness to a felt-sense of Presence. Her Tools For An Awakening World are created to be used by individuals in the most pragmatic ways and shared for the greater good of the whole. She works with facilitators internationally in widely varied walks of life. She sees facilitation not as a profession but as a way of being and guides others to embody their own sense of ease.  Her book, Listen Like A Horse is recognized by colleagues as an evolution of the already cutting-edge field of Equine Assisted Education, Leadership and Self-Awareness. You can purchase Listen Like A Horse and her second book, A Sense Of Self, at Kerri’s website is

Stacey, Dennis, Christina, Christian and everybody who showed up for this meetup, thank you with all my heart for your openness to a different kind of awareness. Hopefully this occurs as relevant in your own lives - the gold is in the pragmatic application, no matter what any situation might present. Your comments and discussion were rich! I am very honored for the opportunity to share with you all. Thanks again!

Hooray! Scott, thank you for the comment. It was a total blast to share that with you all. And I sincerely hope people noticed the difference in how it feels to move around a room with a common priority of harmony!

This is the same day as the Scrum Alliance Meetup in Foster City! Shoot, I do not want to miss either. The Agile community in the valley is relatively small. Would be nice if we co-ordinate.

Checking their calendar, it's been over a year since that group scheduled a Tuesday.

Hey there... typically we have this coordinated but due to scheduling - this occasionally occurs.

Do we know if the power/construction issues (that canceled last time) have been cleared up?

    • Stacey L.

Hi Bob, we don't anticipate PG&E going down again. Thank you.
