CASKS FOR A CURE 4!

It’s baaaaaack!
CASKS FOR A CURE 4
Thursday April 25th at 6:30 pm, Big Boss is proud to host CASKS FOR A CURE benefiting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s North Carolina Chapter . Join us as we continue this awesome tradition in Raleigh!
This event will feature at least six casks & kegs created especially for this benefit. All beer is being provided by some of the top home brewers in the area, and includes a cask from the soon to be open Haw River Farmhouse Ales! A $10 donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Soci...ety’s North Carolina Chapter gets you access to the event! The brand new MacUrOni Food Truck will be on hand, The Last Barfighter Big Boss themed video game will be open for donations, and more!

Haw River Farmhouse Ales: Cask of Vuilaard, our sour-tart Flanders Oude Bruin, aged on French oak and dry-hopped with citrusy American hops in the cask! A little malt-toasty with a fruity, tart finish, with added complexity from the earthy tannins in the oak and a subtle citrus aroma from the finishing whole cone Amarillo & Simcoe hops—this one's gotta be tasted to be appreciated.

Paul Hobson & Lara Murphy: Blood Orange Saison: A classic Belgian style charged with spring flavors. Brewed with blood oranges and Belma hops, this golden, peppery saison promises deep orange blossom and strawberry notes, just the thing for the warming weather. 5.9% ABV

Dan Caswell: Chocolate Brown Ale

Matt Shellington: Farmhouse IPA

Allan Mason: Robust Porter

Andrew Turner: Top Withens. A Strong Pale Ale.

What great event! And a wonderful warm coincidence that my son Kristopher's birthday is today...we lost him to Non-Hotchkins Lymphoma and this event would have made Kristopher smile big time, (actually, he would have pointed out that it wasn't as much a coincidence, as it was just simple natural to recognize the "big boss"...with a Big Boss. :)

Isn't it wonderful when events align and sadness makes way for events that bring you smiles?
    Happily, Kristopher's Mom
