We are overdue for an evening of fellowship, worship and prayer. Come join us even if this is your first time and we feel sure you will be glad you did. This is also the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Please bring a covered dish or drink to share and a heart ready to praise our Creator. After eating we will sing some praise songs and then share praise reports and prayer requests! Maybe even the unofficial TCS mascot Puffins will be able to join us!
Hey brothers and sisters of TCS! Please join us as in years past at the Wycliff Bible Translators Banquet. https://www.wycliffe.org/ It will be Thursday Nov. 7th at Greensboro Marriott Airport( 1 Marriott Dr.) at 7pm. Not only will there be great food and fellowship, but we will discover how God is working through national Bible translators everywhere to spread seeds on good soil, using new translation strategies, to advance God's kingdom. We will also have the opportunity to find out what role we can play prayerfully and financially in this great mission work. Please contact Jack Stevenson as soon as possible so he can reserve a spot for you. He will be hosting a table and needs commitments by Sun., November 3rd, but really would like them sooner if possible. His email is [masked]. We look forward to seeing you there.
Lets meet near the Great Outdoor Provision Co. , located at the Thruway Shopping Center in Winston Salem. From Thruway, we will carpool to the Rocky Face Mountain Recreation Area which is located about a hour west of Winston Salem near Taylorsville, NC. This will be a moderate hike and is about five miles long. Rocky Face Mountain Recreation area is like a small version of Stone Mountain. This is a very scenic park with a lot of pretty rock outcroppings. I am looking forward to getting out and enjoying God's creation. After the hike, if there is interest, we can stop at a restaurant on the way back to Winston Salem and have some dinner. Roy,
