What part of homesteading interest you?

Livestock health and management, beekeeping, home butchering, canning and food preservation, gardening, heritage breeds, designing and building animal housing, food safety for small producers.

Introduction

I raise poultry, bees, mushrooms, and goats on 6.5 acres in Wake Forest. Meeting and talking with other homesteaders is one of my favorite things to do. On and off the farm, I'm a veterinarian and the author of Chicken Health for Dummies.
