Hey folks,

A JS job posting coming your way. Me and three other guys started a new company in the web analytics space, and it's going to have a heavy JS component on the front end. We are a good bunch of guys (Ex-Google, Motricity, Blackboard). We got into LaunchBox which is a Y-Combinator type incubator here in Durham, and are cranking away trying to bring our idea to fruition. Anyhow - we are looking to bring a JS guru on board part time for the next few months as a contractor. We want someone that has experience with the vector graphics side of JS, and is preferably able to take our suggestions, and make them even better than we imagined. Our "official" job post is below. Let me know if you are interested.

----

We are a fast paced startup looking to bring on a part time contractor to build and iterate on the user-facing side of a web analytics application. We are looking for someone with deep knowledge of Javascript. Knowledge of libraries such as JQuery and Raphael are a plus. Ideally, a candidate would have prior experience building and manipulating vector based graphics with JS.

Work would begin ASAP

Please send resumes and any relevant URLs to shannon at springmetrics dot com

Hey everyone,

I just got an email from Jon Hesselink with Deutsche Bank that they are looking for JavaScript developers to join their team in Cary:

"We're still out there searching for JavaScript "Ninjas" for our UI development team. Framework/s known is not the critical piece, but the guru type who can work at the low-level is going to be the right kind of individual. It's permanent and relatively senior within the organization so if you know of anyone please don't hesitate to pass along my contact details. Local candidates are preferred at this stage though will consider folks from outside the area (we have a lump-sum relocation package)."

Contact Jon if you are interested:

Hey Folks,

I posted a few months ago about a part time JS position. We are now looking for a full time front end guy. We want someone with a really solid JS background (JQuery as well as core JS knowledge) - in addition to either PHP or RoR. Full job posting is here:

http://www.springmetr...

It is currently being called "Ruby on Rails Engineer" - but really we are open to either RoR, or PHP - but like I said, we want someone with really solid JS skills.

Let me know if you're interested. Oh, and updates since last post - we are now a funded startup, and we have hired our first employee - an ex-google guy who is cranking on the backend.
