This week, we will have the privilege of hearing from Steve Hand, Executive Director of BNI for the Triangle region. Steve's Lunch Talk topic: "How to Become a Networking Expert While Eating Chinese Food."

Networking isn't just about business cards and elevator pitches. The goal of networking is to create magnetism. During this short presentation, we will talk about simple ways that you can create a natural and fluid networking experience that attracts people to you. Even if you are not the type of person who enjoys "working the room," you can learn how to become a 24/7 networker. You'll also get the chance to try out the concepts with a fun interactive group exercise.


Lunch is $12 (be ready to pay at the door). Our lunch talk meetups run from 11:30 to 1:00.

We will have open mingling and networking from 11:30 to 12:00. At 12:00, we will begin the formal presentation by the speaker. Presentations typically run approximately 45 minutes.The buffet will be open for the entire time, but we ask that attendees not go up to the buffet during the presentation. The buffet will continue to be open after the event is concluded.

Please get your food and be ready for the presentation to start promptly at noon. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!

the book titled, Building The Ultimate Network.

Released in late 2009, this is a collaborative effort of entrepreneurs and professionals from all around the world revealing their top secrets for building a profitable network of people and
relationships, both online and offline. Steve contributed a chapter titled “The Magic of Catalyst Events.” On the day of release, Building The Ultimate Network reached best-seller status in two separate categories including the Direct Marketing and Entrepreneurship categories.

His wife, Shirley, teaches at the Governor Morehead School for the Blind and co-published Seeing Beyond Sight, a book about photography classes for blind students that was well received by the New York Times.

Steve’s personal goal is to drive passive income above active expenses.
