• RTP - Small Talk About Tiny Houses (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill)

One of our local tiny house enthusiasts, Mike Moore, has been living the minimalist lifestyle for years. You can read about his first foray into tiny housing (https://tinyhouseblog.com/small-house-feature/mikes-tumbleweed-mulfinger/). This month, Mike will walk us through some of his experiences over the years. We will discuss: - intentional communities - cohousing - zoning - along with some photos Let's get together share ideas about tiny houses, intentional communities, container homes, and other alternative housing options. Along with our new location, we have a new format for meetings. We will gather in the atrium before moving to the upstairs conference room as a group. 5:00 - 5:15 socialize in the atrium as everyone arrives DON'T BE LATE - doors are automatically locked on weekends, so don't be late 5:15 - 7:00 meeting and/or guest presentation in the upstairs conference room 7:00 - 8:00 continue the conversation 11 minutes away at Caribou Coffee (8201 Brier Creek Pkwy) If you do arrive late, post a message here and we will send someone downstairs after seeing your message. Please, try to arrive on time because the building is locked on weekends and it may be a while before anyone notices a new message posted here.

  • Holiday Social

    The Frontier

I organize the Raleigh SEO Meetup and WordPress Help Desk events - in addition to the Triangle Tiny House Meetup. Each year, I host a holiday party and you're invited to join us. Don't worry about the different focus for each of these groups - you are sure to have something to talk about because it will be a diverse group of people. There will be food and drinks, trivia, holiday music, and social games. Spend the evening chatting with your friends and colleagues. We will be collecting toys for donation to an organization that takes toys to children in hospitals in our area, please bring a 5 to 10 dollar unwrapped toy.
