About Fickle Creek Farm
Ben and Noah's 74-acre farm, called Fickle Creek Farm, is home to market gardens, laying hens, meat chickens, sheep, jersey steers, pigs, and five livestock guard dogs to keep everyone safe.

We will be taking a trip to Efland, NC Sunday afternoon for a 2 hour tour on Fickle Creek Farm, learn and explore how meats and vegetables are produced through careful environmental stewardship, sustainable practices, and humane animal treatment: fruits and vegetables are naturally grown here without inorganic chemical inputs; Eggs, chicken, and pork come from free-ranging flocks on pasture that never receive synthetic hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products; steers and sheep are all raised on pasture without medicated feed or synthetic hormones.

Some items are available for purchase directly from the farm - according to Ben, certainly eggs, chicken, and pork, plus some array of produce (greens and sweet potatoes mostly).

A Few Things to Note
1) There is a $5 charge per person, please bring cash.
2) Efland is country, so plan for 30 minutes driving from Chapel Hill, and at least 50 minutes from either Cary or Raleigh. We are working on the carpooling so please send me an email if you are looking for a ride.
3) Kids are welcome but please keep close attention to them.
