I didn't know what happened between Nora(?) and Sharon(?) and the friction between them (revenge???) but i appreciate Sharon's efforts for the meetup group and she's been great sending informative events related to the group.

One more clarification about assistant organizer and event organizer:
Meetup used to only has assistant organizer besides organizer, now it created two more categories: event organizer and co-organizer. Which is not neccessary make thing easier for our group in particular. I made every assistant organizer to event organizer simply because assistant organizer has too much rights including remove members. Remove member out of group is not something I take lightly, The only two members I have removed in the past several years, one used our group to send junk commercial ad, another one found himself at the wrong side of law during our event.
I appreciate everyone's contribution to the group, including Sharon's. What she did good for the group is apprecated and remembered, that has never been changed. However, the privillege of removing members for assistant organizer happen to harm our reputation in some way. At one point, we have 15-20 members being removed by assistant organizer within 20 minutes without letting me know before hand, I have no way to send them email to explain that was a mistake. Those who being removed must wonder why they deserve it, some of them even joined our events several times and enjoyed our group very much, unfortunately I do not keep their personal contact information. I was very upset but did forgive the mistake and move on.
Some people put too much emphysis on the title. I don't think every event organizer we have in the list want to be in charge of remove members, or enjoy spend mental energy to settle disagreement behind the scence. Thus I don't think assistant organizer's previllege is neccessary to become a successful organizer. Our group member show respect and apprecation to one person simply because the person's contribution, never been the fact that what title the person has. There is no need to sweat what kind of title in the group. As John Davis words stated, in the end, it's truly all small stuffs.

Nora made assistant organizer never been the fact to replace anyone. She has been assistant organizer for this group for a long time. Sharon removed Nora from our group couple days ago for her own personal revenge without telling anyone. That's what I consider abuse privillage and create dishormony. Based on Nora's contribution to our group, I invited her back as assistant organizers.
I don't always have time to monitor or organize event for the group, when I am not around I want this group run by person with decency, integrity and professionalism. Good leader is hard to find in meetup in general. But we will do our best.
