The Book Club is becoming The Media Club.

Not just books; we're going to read a collection of "Secular Writings" for next time, called Disproving Christianity by David G. McAfee. (And in the future, we talked about watching The God Who Wasn't There or other flicks)

http://www.amazon.com/Disproving-Christianity-Secular-Writings-revised/dp/0956427685/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Mr. McAfee has been kind enough to provide us with a free .pdf copy of the book! Go like his facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/AuthorDavidGMcAfee

Here is a link to the book to download from my dropbox, hope this works, let me know if not:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/26638626/Disproving%20Christianity%20and%20Other%20Secular%20Writings.pdf.pdf

We will read the second half for this meeting - from p83 to the end.

***AND*** please go to Amazon after your read and post a review and consider, if you have the $$$ and enjoyed the read, purchasing a copy. Mr. McAfee was super generous to give away this copy - he says he's given away over 2,500 copies now.

I will always strive to make sure whatever book, film, articles, or other media we choose to study can be made available to participants for free.

I really wish I could make it. I don't think any buses run up there, do they? Hopefully, gas next month won't be as much of an issue.
